Because of the calm waters on the west coast of Kona, the diving is just excellent. Another reason that makes this a perfect place to begin this long-term hobby are the warm waters which attract fish, coral and great divers. It's 75 degrees at its coldest in February and 82 degrees during warm October. Visibility of 100+ feet is common. You just can't miss when the uncontrollable forces all work in your favor.

Its reputation as a place for those who don't like crowds is what attracted us to this PADI dive shop. The staff was friendly and helpful and the owner is both a businessman and an excellent diver. This introduction to scuba will have a minimum of 2 dive students and a maximum of 4. Your dive will be a 2-tank dive and your course lessons will be given while aboard the boat.

All your equipment is provided except a towel. Everything else will be handled by others. Don't forget your underwater camera though, to take home those memories.
